From 7 - 8 June 2017, 166 experts from 23 countries followed the white rabbit and participated in the chii2017 – Conference on Hyperspectral Imaging in Industry.

The chii2017 - Conference on Hyperspectral Imaging in Industry was the most successful chii ever. In 34 product and technology presentations, chii2017 provided the largest overview in industrial hyperspectral imaging. In 5 detailed training sessions participants got a deeper understanding in various fields of hyperspectral imaging. Additionally the chii2017 is a perfect place for networking. Beside the possibilities to meet at the exhibition and the evening event, the chii-talks provided a platform to arrange meetings in preparation of the conference. In more than 170 bilateral meetings participants came in contact with suppliers, partners and new customers.

More than 21% of the participants are working the top management like CEO and CTOs. More than 67% of the participants were decision makers. Additionally we could welcome many decision influencers like our professional media partners. Compared to chii2016 the number of participants increased by 28%. The number of exhibitors even grow by 90 percent. This shows the importance of the chii conferences. The next conference, chii2018, will take place in Graz, Austria from 6 - 7 June 2018. Safe your exhibition space now and present your solutions at the conference on hyperspectral imaging in Industry.

Embedded CCI at chii2017

Perception Park presented for the very first time the Chemical Colour Imaging technology for SoC systems (System on Chip) based on NVIDIA’s Jetson TX1 and TX2. Due that CCI is now also available for SoC, the field of application of Chemical Colour Imaging is dramatically expanded. Not only industrial machines are now considerably more compact, the booming drones market is also experiencing numerous new opportunities, for example in the agricultural sector or in the forestry sector. Since smart cameras occupy a very important place in industrial image processing, Embedded CCI allows to integrate Chemical Colour Imaging directly into the housing of a hyperspectral camera. In addition to configurable CCI systems, also smart cameras that are tailored to a specific application can now be provided. Similar to a thermal imaging camera, "moisture cameras" or "sugar cameras" are now conceivable.
