Chemical Color Imaging is typically applied by solution providers, like instrument builders, for industrial purposes. Its main markets today are recycling, food, mining and also the pharmaceutical industry. By adapting a hyperspectral camera with a real-time processing core, Chemical Color Imaging turns the camera system to an easy-to-understand and intuitive configurable “chemical color camera”. Since the output data is in a standardized machine vision format, all available image processing solutions can be facilitated for tasks like decision generation, counting or monitoring based on chemical information.
As a consequence Chemical Color Imaging enables you to use your well established machine vision solution of your sorting machine to integrate hyperspectral cameras that can identify objects according to spectral material properties.
Chemical Color Imaging is performed by a Perception System. A Perception System is a data processing solution specialized on inline processing of hyperspectral data.
The Perception System includes a high performance data processing unit with the Perception Core GPU and the Perception STUDIO including the plugins Perception ACQUIRE, Perception EXPLORE and Perception MODEL. Additionally, customers get access to our knowledge data base which is available as a wiki-system.
